Wont tempt fate.

O/T - Sources in Edwards campaign are being reported as saying that should he drop out he'll endorse Obama.

I think most assumed that would be the case. He wouldn't go on and on about a defeat for the status quo (ie Clinton) then endorse her.

Yeah not unexpected, i guess it depends when he decides to drop out... would he wait till after SC going into Super Tuesday?

I think it depends on the NH result. If he falls below 15% and therefore wins no delegates, he may drop out immediately. Otherwise, though, I expect him to say that he can still revive his campaign in South Carolina and stay in until then. (In the end, this is probably good for Obama in SC since Edwards's supporters there are exclusively white and therefore probably more inclined to choose Clinton as a second choice.)

1.  Hillary Clinton
2.  Barack Obama
3.  John Edwards
4.  Bill Richardson
5.  Dennis Kucinich
6.  Chris Dodd, even though he's dropped out
7.  Joe Biden, even though he's dropped out
8.  Mike Gravel
9.  Randy Crow
10. Dal LaMagna
11. Mike Skok
12. D.R. Hunter
13. Tom Laughlin
14. Ole Savior
15. Kenneth Capalbo
16. Bill Keefe
17. Caroline Killeen
18. William Hughes
19. Henry Hughes
20. Richard Caligiuri
21. Tom Koos

Vice President
1.  Raymond Stebbins
2.  William Bryk
