Ohio and it's 20 Electoral Votes would decide whether John McCain or Barack Obama becomes 44th  President of the United States.

I don't think that in the entirety of American history there have been three elections in a row that look absolutely identical.

1900, 1904, 1908. More or less.
Also, 1932, 1936 and 1940 kinda. And then 1920, 1924 and 1928 kinda.

This map is subject to change Wink. I do think that Obama could win Ohio, West Virginia, Florida and Missouri. And potentially Virginia and Colorado.

Well, those don't count; it was the exact same candidate all three times. Tongue

The other two I'll grant you though.

Most of those elections were quite significant landslides.

My map
Solid- States I expect victory
Pale - Leaning
Grey - Toss-up

Yes, I do think in the right circumstances the upper-south comes into play for Obama, I'm sure he wins any of them, but they will be close.

Huckabee would be a terrible addition to McCain.

If the Iraq situation stabilizes or improves...if Obama falters...and if McCain doesn't...

If Iraq continues to destabilize, if McCain falters and if Obama doesn't...
