How can any Californian support Bush after his Ken Lay approved FERC refused to allow California the right to put in price controls when obvious price gouging ($10,000 a megawatt hour) was going on?

The thought occurs to me that if there's one way to make Americans really hate Republicans, it's electing Bush to a second term.  It'll get the electoral pumps primed for Hillary.

Is that what's going on here?

Maybe just a little leader-worship.  Plus Bush is awfully moderate on many issues.

Ah.  I think he spoke at the DNC, and IIRC he kept his Democrat-bashing in check.

I'd vote for a Bayh-Miller ticket Smiley
