I'm usually up at 4 am just because I'm bored but yes Black Friday is pretty stupid.

How do you know you're bored when you're sleeping?  You mean your dreams are boring?

I for one don't consider anything worth getting up at four AM for.  That said, left to my own natural devises, I wouldn't even be in bed yet at four AM.

You aren't getting anything worth getting if you only wake up at 4AM.

I had to wake up at a little before 3AM to get my new LCD TV and GPS unit.  Oh, plus I got some really awesome new shirts, ties, and an overcoat for work.  The savings really are significant enough to make it all worth while, if you have the patience.

I currently (well for another week) work in retail sales.  I went in to work for 7:00 (opened at 5) couldn't sleep last night, got maybe 2 and 1/2 hours if I'm lucky.  Worked till 6:00. So worked for about 11 hours in retail sales on Black Friday after getting about 2 1/2 hours of sleep.

No shop that I´m aware of in Austria has opened at 4am and I doubt hospitals or bars sell DVD-Players for 10$ ...

For the question: No, I wouldn´t buy this DVD player, because I already have one, not to mention the porcellain crap.
