In case you haven't noticed, Bandit is either a total troll or mentally handicapped.

Bull.

Everyone who reads my articles probably knows I don't just mean direct rigging of the Boss Hogg sort. I also mean media bias.

Oh, so that's why you invoked Diebold.

I wasn't the first to mention Diebold in this thread.

No doubt the GOP will be taking some comfort in this result. Tsongas will be re-elected in 2008 with c.63% of the vote, assuming she survives any possible primary

Dave

Yeah I agree the GOP will be happy. They entered with no expectations and had a close loss.

And sixteen years without all Democratic congressional representation
12 years IIRC, or is it 10?

I think the last 2 GOP reps last from Massachusetts both lost in 1996. Making it 10.

Republicans have not had a congressman in MA since: Jan 1997 (Blute, Torkildsen).
Republicans have not had enough votes to defend a veto since: Jan 1993.

I was glad to see this racist go down, but his 45 percent was a bit disturbing. I guess low-turnout elections are biased in favor of the crazies.

Not quite.  The national party had a serious under the radar campaign to win this seat.
