This has been going over in my head for quite a long time, but up until very recently I've just tried to sort of ignore it and hope it'd go away.  But basically, I'm now coming to the conclusion that I am in fact gay.

I won't go into the details of how I reached this decision because of course that's personal, and you guys most likely don't want to know anyway.  But let's just say that I've been receiving some regular 'guidance' from a male friend of mine for some time now.  This of course means that I've now ended my relationship with my girlfriend, who I was fully open and honest with.  To say that she took the news badly is an understatement, but I understand her 100%.

But anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys as well, because I feel close enough with many of you to do so.  I'd appreciate any constructive comments you might have, particularly any words of moral wisdom from our good friend Jmfcst on the matter.

I watch these old sixties sit-coms on Nick at Nite and think, man those must have been the good old days.  A decent, caring, modern, evolved man would sit outside the the soundproof room smoking a cigar--smoking in a hospital, mind you--watching a black and white program on TV and drinking hard liquor from a tumbler awaiting a trained medical person--one whose service cost maybe fifty dollars since it was before government started involving itself in healthcare--to come to tell you whether it was a man child or a woman child.  Nowadays, you know five months in whether it has a dick or a pussy, and when the big day arrives, the decent, caring, modern, evolved man is expected to watch it emerge, bloody and blind, gasping for that first breath and looking for a tit.

Ron Paul delivering my child? Why not?  He's 71, and has been practicing medicine for over 40 years. He's probably delivered children of women he delivered children from.  He has five kids of his own. He seems to be nothing but a warm, kind, decent gentleman. 

I'd love and be honored for this good man to be our next President.
