First Primaries.
[/b]
As the primaries continued on, much of the same trends happened. Fred Thompson gained strength in most of the country, but little was gained in New Hampshire, Iowa and Nevada. John Edwards and Barrack Obama gained some popularity, and it looked like Obama was going to win New Hampshire in the Primaries, along with South Carolina. Unfortunatley for Obama, and Edwards, Clinton still was in the lead, and an uncertainty was in the air, when the Iowa Caucaus started.

Nationwide Polls for Democrats
Hillary Clinton 34%
Barrack Obama 27%
John Edwards 16%
Bill Richardson 4%
Dennis Kucinich 1%
Joe Biden 1%
Chris Dodd 1%
Undecided 16%

Nationwide Polls for Republicans
Fred Thompson 26%
Mitt Romney 21%
Rudy Giuliani 18%
John McCain 6%
Ron Paul 3%
Sam Brownback 1%
Mike Huckabee 1%
Tom Thompson 1%
Tom Tancredo 1%
Undecided 22%

Finally that night results came in for Iowa. A very un-expected result happened in Iowa, in which John Edwards won by a fairly high margin.
Results for the Iowa Democratic Caucaus
John Edwards 36% Delegates: 16
Barrack Obama 29% Delegates: 16
Hillary Clinton 27% Delegates: 13
Bill Richardson 4%
Chris Dodd 2%
All other candidates under 1%

Meanwhile in the Republican Cacaus John McCain raised a decent challenge to Romney and beat Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani.
Results for the Iowa Republican Caucaus
Mitt Romney 34% Delegates: 41
John McCain 19%
Rudy Giuliani 20%
Fred Thompson 15%
Ron Paul 2%

This greatly affected the race, as Edwards, McCain and Romny gained tons of momentum, while Clinton, Thompson, and Giuliani sank in popularity, and lost much of their frontrunner status that they used to have.

The only problem with this timeline is that, Hillary Clinton is leading in the Democratic polls and Rudy Giuliani has got only 18%. Please make Giuliani's numbers plummet to newer lows. Apart from these "Numerical" values. Hope this is continued one day.
