Yeah, like why he's closed minded....

You're kidding yourself if you don't think it's more for political reasons than anything else.
Im more than aware that its all political, but its still sad......

Considering that Massachusetts is the only state in the entire country that is okay with gay marriage, anyone running for a nationwide position (who actually has a chance to win) would be crazy to support such a thing.

I agree, they should do it anyway.  2008 is going to be comfortably Democratic enough, that we could win with more liberal views than usual, and we shouldn't hold back.
