1998-2000 were pretty sweet.

Perhaps. I miss particular grades. I'd say that I miss 2000 and 2001, and 2004 to an extent. 2007 was pretty awesome, too.

Yeah, but the first part of that streak was Carter. Tongue

Which begs the question: What happened in 2003-4?

2007 was pretty cool in my personal life, and of course 2008 for the awesome campaign season.

Those years were OK, but they weren't the best. 2003-2004 was when I went to 6th grade, and I thought there was way too much homework and projects in that grade level (a lot of which was very hard). Also, in 6th grade the teachers forced us to write in cursive (almost all of the time), which I thought was really stupid since I can write much more neatly in regular handwriting than in cursive. I'm glad that I switched schools between 6th and 7th grade and that at my new school the teachers did not force us to write in cursive. I also moved in the summer of 2004 and so in late 2004 I and my family were just adjusting to our new residence. Also, Bush Jr.'s reelection in November 2004 (when I first began to pay attention to politics) made me really disappointed since shortly before the election I found out that Bush was for the rich and Kerry was for ordinary Americans. Thus, I started patiently waiting for Bush's second term to end and for the 2008 election to occur.
