....why is AMLO's candidate winning in a landslide? I never thought this forum actually likes AMLO.
Is so funny you separate Gálvez from the rest of the PAN but cannot grab your head around why someone would like an outspoken progressive like Sheinbaum despite being from the same party as AMLO.
Also, while AMLO hasn't been exactly transformational nor has he fulfilled outside expectations (though actual Mexicans like him well enough, his approvals have been over 60% his entire government) he still has done some good like significantly reducing poverty despite the COVID pandemic.
Also, Gálvez wants to go back to the failed security policies of Calderón which tripled the homicide rate and from which México still hasn't recovered. That by itself is disqualifying enough.
If people don't want to support MORENA because they are PRI-lite just support the MC candidate (not as MC is a particularly clean party either but for Atlas-types they are still better than PAN or, you know, the actual PRI).
