I know that this country can barely agree on an objective version of reality as is, but this seems very bad.

I don’t even know how you can ban this sort of thing. It’s not a physical item like a gun or a drug. It’s all on the computer. How do you put the genie back in the bottle?

A lot of Indian politicians are doing this right now to speak in several different languages or target specific voters using deepfakes. They even call people using AI chatbots.
