Something like this. Someone with socially conservative but economically progressive views would do well in this now-swing ancestrally-Democratic seat
Kinda similar to mine, which makes sense given our similar politics. I also thought about a Western Pa. one around Pittsburgh.

Yeah, I noticed that too. In fact, I also drew a district in Western Pennsylvania that fully includes Greene and Fayette, mostly of Westmoreland and part of Allegheny. Such a district supported Biden by 2 or 3 points.

But I preferred the district with Scranton, I don't even know why. The only reason I think is because of my views on the environment, I strongly support emissions control and a strong fight against climate change. There are still more mines in the West, so I think that my environment-friendly position would be better for Scranton district.

A district most people would find insufferable, this is basically 2010 CA-18, CA-14, and CA-17's nicest parts combined into one, making it the most "Coastal Elitist" district possible. Before Elon moved it would've contained 5 of the 10 richest Americans, and currently has 3 of the 5 richest places in the country so it's probably the NIMBY capital of America as well as its wealthiest district. Due to this being Silicon Valley, it is majority-minority- 48% White, 38% Asian, 10% Hispanic, and 2% Black- and is home to 4 of the 5 FAANG companies (Facebook, Apple, Netflix, and Google). Voted 77-21 Biden and 74-21 Clinton but I'd wager Romney got close to 30%. Every precinct is blue, so I'm attaching a demographic image instead. Anyway, I'd be a bit too development friendly compared to most here but other than that I align pretty well economically, socially, and culturally.

My dream IL district takes in the precinct that I grew up in and connects it to areas that would be politically favorable to me.  I snaked it into Chicago to take in the liberal north shore areas including the gayborhoods of Lakeview and Edgewater.  There's also the college town of Evanston.  I snaked it around a lot of the rich North Shore suburbs and ran tentacles to Dem leaning Black and Latino areas in Round Lake and Waukegan, similar to current IL-10.  It ends up being almost minority-majority, while voting similarly to Dane County, WI.

Not that different than two of the districts the legislature created this past cycle.

I really like this State Senate district. I intentionally made it highly competitive.

Here's an attempt at a House district while keeping most counties included intact.

Boebert's district! With two important cities: Durango which is already in the district, where I would choose to live in this scenario, and Boulder, which provides the bulk of the Democratic advantage here.
