By TN2024

Well the elections are over, and in all but the Notheast, which still seems to remain to be decided, the more conservative candidates have been swept aside. I can attribute this to our new Atlasian growth, which seems to have been decidedly from the left. I for one welcome this growth, no matter what political persuasion the new citizens are.
In national news my personal choice for President, BrandonH, did well initially in the election but was swept aside in later rounds. Though he made it to the final vote against Colin, the final result shows a distinct weakness in the right side of Atlasian politics, a far cry from the optimism I for one held a few months ago.

Muted

In a hilarious attempt to quiet the voices against him, my fellow writer and fresh-faced Senator from the NE  DWTL has censored mine and a few other's comments about him. His steps included "ignoring" statements made by Hashemite and myself, as well as insulting Hashemite over their previous election encounters. On a personal note I have moved back to my home state of Connecticut in a blatant Carpetbagging move, I remain undecided on if I will be running for position in the NE in the next election.
If you ask me, DWTl has been brash and rude not only beyond his tiny amount of experience, but beyond even the respect an A18 level of posts demands. His campaign includes a promised "wave" of new legislation, no word yet if this wave will be like the others he has produced and go down in flames faster than Ebowed can present them to the Senate.

More soon, comments wanted and welcome.

Unfortunately, as the election for that seat will be August 24-26, you won't be able to move from Connecticut to somewhere else in time to run in the election if the state happens to not be in DWTL's district.
