Horrible genre that often blends together for me.
It certainly didn't help that at its height I was in middle school, and prefer not to think back to those days.

Depends if you're talking Buzzcocks (love to death), Green Day (eh), or Blink 182 (who care).

It's better understood with bands like The Wonder Years, Hot Mulligan, and New Found Glory honestly.

I don't know any of them to be honest. The first one you said just made me think of The Wonder Stuff.

I listened to a lot of pop punk in high school/early college and now it is absolutely insufferable to me, save for a few of the more modern bands (The Wonder Years, Seaway, Carousel Kings because they're from Lancaster, Like Pacific) as well as quite a few of the classics (old Fall Out Boy, old Say Anything, Paramore, Jimmy Eat World)

I'm much more into power pop. Voted HG because on the whole, the majority of bands still making pop punk are just derivatives of older, better bands.

Teenage Kicks is a good song.
The Middle (Jimmiy Eat World) is good too, but I´m not sure if that count.

Strong contender for my least favourite genre. Also why aren't any of the results showing in these polls?
