Hammy hasn't posted since November 24, 2023.  He hasn't been active on the Forum since January 21, 2024.  Is he OK?  He was a pretty regular poster here, and he suddenly stopped.

After Mr. Morden was discovered to have died I don't take sudden absences of regular posters for granted.  Hopefully, he's merely decided to take a rest from this place.

You're raising a fair issue here that seems generally underdiscussed or just too uncomfortable to talk about. In some ways, for obvious reasons. Barely anyone not suffering from a chronical and severe disease really prepares their online presence for a tragedy occur. And even if you mentioned to family members and friends to spend time online in a place like this, in a worst-case-scenario they usually have other concerns that trying to inform a community like Atlas what happened.

Personally, I try to at least mention somewhere that I'll be taking abreak or are absent, though in the end its a personal decision for each and everyone.
