The party of law & order.

The legislation also addresses federal candidate eligibility objections. Iowa's objection panel would only be able to review objections for federal candidates, related to residency, age and citizenship requirements. It removes the requirement that felons would not be allowed on Iowa's ballot. Supporters have said this is a technical bill that matches requirements outlined by the U.S. constitution.
The proposal also states the only objections the three person panel could review for President or Vice President would be limited to legal sufficiency of their paperwork.

Donald Trump did not cross my mind at all when I read this headline. Good, right?

Where else are the Republicans supposed to find candidates at this point?

Won't be long before the GOP will try to pass a constitutional amendment that requires anyone running for president to have been fined at least $300 million by a court of law. They'll be the first pro-crime party.

Reynolds should veto it.

Any reasonable Governor would, but do you want to lay odds on that occurring?
