To my knowledge, Biden hasn't taken a mental competency test in spite of all the age-related attacks and concerns.

He's taken annual physical exams, but those exams don't mention cognitive tests or mental assessments (see: https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Health-Summary-2.16.pdf)

So my question is simple ... is there a reason he hasn't taken one? What's the supposed downside that his team sees in a mental competency test?

The downside is pretty obvious.

Wasn't Warren baited into taking a DNA test, and it ended up backfiring on her? Biden should avoid taking any risks possible. He will probably pass, but if he fails that would be a career ending move.
