So, what is this?It is exactly what it says on the title, Barack Obama is a Far-Left Socialist in the mold of Ventura, La Riva, Stein, and Hawkins: a communist with Nixon-level paranoia instead of a Centre-left Liberal.
What?! How?!It's incredibly easy and takes just one simple PoD 45 years before Barack is even born

So is Obama an entirely different person?Personally, somewhat as a lot of his public personality traits of OTL (well spoken, insanely charismatic, clean cut, intelligent, eloquent, etc, etc) are kept here, but privately, he reaches (if not exceeds) Nixon-levels of paranoia, and policy wise, he is way different.
How does this affect American and Global PoliticsA lot, as one can assume with a left-wing socialist party controlling Washington in the aftermath of the Great Recession.
