 bad poll for DeSantis. He will probably get 2nd place in Iowa, but a distant 4th place finish in NH can embarrass him.

Maybe Christie drops out before NH. Perhaps DeSantis can court his endorsement. If Christie drops out and endorses Haley, DeSantis could face a blowout behind Haley and Trump

I wouldn't be so quick to pencil DeSantis in for second in IA. I think some polls have Haley tied with him, but caucuses are weird. If he finishes 3rd in IA and 4th in NH, there is no real reason for him to go to SC where he'll finish a distant third.
