Why did Staten Island NYC vote for Obama in 2012 by 1 or 2 points while Trump wins it by large margins? I don't understand.

I think Obama got a boost among cops and firefighters because of the success of the Bin Laden raid.

That and also southern end was hit really hard by Sandy so probably suppressed voter turnout there while northern end less impacted and GOP tends to win big on southern end while northern end leans Democrat.
