Joe, this has been going on for quite some time, as I'm sure you're already well aware. It's a shame really but not expected. These people have rolled over in the face of tyranny for centuries now.

Possibly, but it's very unlikely that he'll get it in 2008, rather somewhere down the line.

Well by "term" I meant taking power, not being elected again (which I don't think can legally happen).

Well by "term" I meant taking power, not being elected again (which I don't think can legally happen).

Well he'll continue to operate behind the scenes but I doubt he'll actually be in a position like the Presidency or the Prime Minister again. He will try and control politics just as Yeltsin probably would have liked to have done if he wasn't completely disruptable and completely drunk by the end of his term.
