Before this broke people were theorizing it was her the House statement yesterday was referring to, cause she has some history of using campaign money to hire her Husbands company for private security.

At the moment she is facing Weseley Bell, who won in an upset to become St. Louis county's first African American Prosecuting Attorney. If the race stays just as it is right now, I have to imagine he's got a serious shot. Especially since like most good primary challengers to the squad he seems to align more towards the left (his history in St. Louis is full of pushing for progressive prison and police reform) but takes fault with the incumbent over ethical issues and their pursuit of the national limelight rather than community connections.

But more local politicians may hop in now.
