Shepard Smith: This is a foxnews alert. We have just been handed word that Justin will be making a speech up near the White Mountains in just a couple of minutes. Justin, as the people of the Northeast know, is very peculiar political figure. He is running uncontested as of now for the Senate seat that is currently held by Democrat turned Republican Senator from NY, Boss Tweed. Tweed has said he will not run for another term giving the UAC/Reform candidate a jumpstart in the elections. And Here is Justin now...

Hello my dear friends of the Northeast. It's great to be in NH today to talk to you all about my candidicy. Now I know that we have run campigns before and have lost. But I have a feeling that we will win come August.

My Friends, this not just about me or this dirstict or even the region. My freinds, this is about all Atlasians. We have lived through political termoil through the dissolution of 4 parties and the creation of many more. We have lived through the embarrassment that was President Nym's Administration. The Senate is in no better shape either.

Not much is getting done in the Senate and there many bills that have yet to be voted on. There is no communication between the People and the Senate as well as the People and the President. We can not stand idle watch helplessly as these bureaucrats doddle and twiddle thier thumbs and do nothing. It is a smack in the face to our great system.

If Elected I promise change and reform to the system. If Elected, I will introduce bills to give the people more access to government and force those in power to be forced to assure the people that what they are doing is the right thing. I want this government and our people to continue to flourish and prosper and not fall into decadence and laziness.

I hope that you give me a chance to be your Senator so together we can clean up the acts of our government and make it responsible. Thank you and may God bless you and your families as well as the Atlas forums.

Wow. Well at least it wasn't bad enough to cost me your vote. Smiley

I'll admit I voted for you but that was unintentional. That's another thing. If Elected I will push for a constitutional amendment to re-instate the"First Past the post" method of voting.

Election, eh? Hmm, we'll see how long you remain... uncontested.

BTW What's with the PCP logo, just wondering since it's a dead Canadian party.

I have it because I think it's better Logo than either Republican Elephant, the old Canadian Reform "R" logo or the current Conservative Logo for both the UK and Canada. Plus the whole Progressive Conservative thing is part of the platform of the UAC. What better way to show that union that by displaying the PCPC logo.

You could use the Progressive Canadian logo...

But those are out and out Red Tories.

The midterms will be the 3rd weekend in August. The filing deadline, I believe is a week before.
