Even with its poor trends, OH is still more central to a Democratic majority long-term than MT is. And, while I do quite like Tester, Brown is probably a touch better.

Who their opponents are might change the calculation for me: for instance if it were Tester vs. Rosendale and Brown vs. Dolan, I might have to say that I would prefer Tester to win.

But ignoring their opponents, I prefer Brown as a Senator overall, and it would be a shame to ever see him lose. Tester is still pretty great for a red state Democrat though.
