For the longest time, I pronounced Vivek Ramaswamy's name incorrectly.

I always pronounced it /və.vɛk ɹĉm.əs.weɪ.mi/

Apparently, it is pronounced /və.vɛk ɹɑm.əs.wɑ.mi/

Pete Buttigieg is the most prominent recent one I can think of.

Of course there's always the English surname Featherstonhaugh.

I still prefer saying Ger-ald-DYNE instead of Ger-ald-DEEN in the very rare instances that name comes up.

Also, as a kid from some reason I pronounced René as Bené.
