Since 2007, New York has had four Democratic governors in a row, though most (in some opinions all) disappointed, two resigned in disgrace. Who do you prefer or dislike least?

I'd say Hochul easily tops the three guys that preceded her.

I was ready to vote for Mario, but Hochul is probably the best out of these four.

It's kind of hard to comprehend how Andrew screwed up so much while his dad was pretty good. It's alnost similar to the Bush father-son pair. Very different story with the Governor Browns from California.

Anyone who thinks Eliot Spitzer is the only politician to patron the oldest profession is kidding themselves. He just got caught. But regardless he seems like a good guy and good governor, who did GREAT work as AG. I gave him a pity vote.

Shows how mediocre Pataki was as a governor that he did not have a bench for 2006 and beyond. He only rode the Clinton economy in 1998 and the 9/11 effect in 2002, although he did cut taxes at the state level at the time.

Mario was just so unpopular in 1994 and voters did not want a fourth term in '94.

1. Spritzer (closest thing New York has had to a competent liberal governor in the 21st century)
2. Patterson (not good but was dealt a pretty bad hand)
3. Hochul (does not seem to have much of a connection to reality)
4. Cuomo (killed enough New Yorkers that it cost us a congressional seat)

I think I agree with this order as well.

I agree with this, I'll add the conditions that Spitzer couldn't keep it in his pants and it's pretty cool that Hochul is trying to build Stalinblocks in Long Island.

Bayh Sr/Bayh Jr is more mindboggling than ANY of these combos.

Spitzer is most likely the only one who I would've voted for so him by default
