Tazewell Tyler is the last child of John Tyler from Letitia Tyler.

He was a doctor, but passed away in 1874 at the really young age of 43.

Had he lived longer though, would he have ran for President? Also, would he have won? The average president is sworn in at over 10 years older.

If he were to win a presidential election, Woodrow Wilson would not be the only president to receive a PhD.

Also, he'd have to be elected no later than 1888 to have his stepmother, Julia Gardiner, still living by the time he is president. (not to mention Elizabeth Priscilla Cooper Tyler as well, who was also first lady).

Obviously he'd live to 1928, long enough to see the birth of his still-living nephew. He'd be turning 98 a month later, but imagine the memes.

His wife, Nannie Bridges, lived until 1927. She still lived long enough to see the birth of Lyon Gardiner Tyler, who died in 2020.

Not to mention she was still alive at the time of Woodrow Wilson's death!
