This is really sad and people should really boycott these movies because the fact is that Disney is relying on live action remakes truly shows their complete lack of creativity and the fact that the vast majority of these were completely botched (Like The Lion King and Pinocchio).

All stuff like this does is reward Disney and Hollywood in general for having zero creativity now days

Some of us were planning on boycotting Disney for the mediocre live action remakes until DeSantis and Republicans started aggressively attacking them for not being bigots and for not showing stories in the way that bigots want them shown. Republicans have forced us to look at Disney as the good guys we should support against bad guys, which is actually a really impressive feat when you think about it.

I heard it was a high quality remake, and that the romance is better than the original.

I'm a bit skeptical since it is doing poorly internationally. It may make a profit but it needs to make close to a billion dollars in order to justify the investment.
