I would say both Warner and Kaine could top John Warner. Mark Warner is a much more likely candidate though.

You should have made the poll, that more than one response can be given.  Warner would, Kaine probably would and Afleck could.

Warner would win but I want him to run for Governor. Tim Kaine can't run again so in order to stay in VA Politics he should run for the Senate, and let Warner run for Governor. I'd also like to see Creigh Deeds run for Lt. Governor.

You've got to be kidding with this Afleck nonsense.  I'm not even sure why he is being considered in this poll or as a serious candidate.  There's no chance that Virginia would elect a Hollywood liberal over the incumbent Sen. Warner.  In fact I would venture to guess that Afleck couldn't win any statewide race in Virginia.

Affleck is a moderate liberal, pro-Second Amendment, Democrat and very different from the far left, Hollywood liberal stereotype, but I agree there is no chance he could defeat John Warner in Virginia

As to whether he could win statewide in Virginia, I certainly wouldn't rule it out. That depends upon a) how well he defines himself on the issues and b) the Republican he's opposing

However, Affleck does have a "history", which any Republican opponent could throw at him, and this could be a drag on on any future endeavour, on his part, to seek elective office

The man was going to marry J Lo.  There's no way someone like that could ever win anything.
