Ladies and Gentlemen, you've been asked here tonight for a special announcement. Tonight I, ijohn57s, am entering the 4B Senate race. Although I'm new here, you've all made me fell just like a member of the club. This forum is a special place. I really enjoy the fact that we can come here and debate the issues and discuss politics without someone losing their temper. There aren't many places where that sort of thing takes place. As I've already said, this forum is special. I want to be a part of it. Join me and let's fight for the values we hold dear. Let's free ourselves from the oppresion of government. Let's make this place the absolute best it can be. Join me, and let's all fight for our rights.

I'm sorry, I was just looking at PBrunsel's declaration for Senate and that's 3. I just had 3 on the brain. I'll fix it. Not a good start, huh? Cheesy

Believe me I felt the exact same way when I first joined these boards back in Jan... Other forums just aren't this... Well... Fair and Balanced lol.

Good luck.

So we have:

Harry (AFIP-MS)
M (UAC-TX)
ijohn57s (SRP-MS)

Should be interesting.

Apparently, though, we don't have our district ready yet.  So hopefully MS and TX will end up in the same district.

Wait... You mean we're running for a Senate seat and we don't even know what it's going to look like? Shocked

Come on, people! Let's get those maps!

Most of the proposals I have seen that have any reasonble chance of being adopted by the governors have District 3 as consisting of the South-Eastern Region, Texas, Oklahoma, and vary in which of the Mid-Eastern states they have in addition.  It woud take a plan than that has a northwestern and a southwestern district to split Texas and Mississippi., and I don't think that would pass.

Harry,

You don't know tough it is for me to vote against any southerner. Smiley I think you are doing a excellent job but the SRP needs to rise to more prominence.
