OP got it. Somebody whose primary issue is trade and thinks Ds are about sending manufacturing jobs overseas while Rs care only about right wing social issues.  Such a voter doesnt care that much about social issues, but is generally on the center or left as long as you 'keep it to yourself'.

There is also significant crossover with Perot voters.
