Moore county is not too far from Columbus county, in which the sheriff was recorded saying about black employees in his own department: "these black bastards, I'm gonna clean house and be done with it" etc, and was re-elected only a few weeks later anyway.

No, nothing has been confirmed about suspects or motive as yet.  The FBI and NC State Bureau of Investigation are on the case in addition to the county sheriff.  I know it's difficult, but we all need to be patient and wait for further developments.
