What would the midterms have looked like if Dobbs went the other way?

Was just gonna ask who Donna was haha.

Anyway, I think Republicans would've had a much stronger midterm had Roe v. Wade not been overturned, since abortion rights ended up being such a driving issue in the results and the backlash to the decision and the push for abortion bans wouldn't have been as strong if Roe was still in place.

Republicans might've even retaken the Senate.

At the risk of going slightly against the "Trump sunk the GOP" narrative, I think it's reasonable to say this probably adds a significant bump to the GOP slate, with more of a focus on economics and less on abortion and the near daily headlines that turned educated women voters hard against the GOP.

My gut guess is that this probably bumps Walker and Laxalt over the line; maybe Lake as well?

Given how weak Mastriano was down ticket Oz probably is sunk still but maybe only by 1-3%. Obviously a few more Republicans squeak by in the House, maybe up to 230 or so?

By Walker you mean getting him to lead the first round or outright getting him above 50%.

Probably a lot better, they'd have likely won a larger majority in the House (~230), but I think the Senate would have likely remained the same. Republican candidates here were really damaged by poor candidate quality and election denying. Maybe Laxalt narrowly pulls it off, but that's the only flip I see maybe happening.
