They are finding some packages that might be explosives; five so far in populated areas.  So far, they think it's a hoax.

It was parts of a marketing ploy of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force film, the Boston police were just too silly to understand this and wanted a big news story. Similar marketing devices are in NYC, LA, and other major cities and there have been no problems there.
