I will do since Anne from 1707.

Some were alive at the time, some were not.

Anne - December 2, 1738 - DEAD
George I - March 23, 1734 - DEAD
George II - August 24, 1757 - ALIVE
George III - March 18, 1812 - ALIVE
George IV - June 6, 1836 - DEAD
William IV - June 16, 1839 - DEAD
Victoria - March 17, 1893 - ALIVE
Edward VII - September 4, 1915 - DEAD
George V - March 29, 1939 - DEAD
Edward VIII - April 17, 1968 - ALIVE
George VI - October 8, 1969 - DEAD
Elizabeth II - February 13, 2000 - ALIVE
Charles III - September 8, 2022 - ALIVE (obviously)

Current heirs to the throne:
William V - April 14, 2056
George VII - May 16, 2087

If I reach Charles' age when he ascended to the throne, the day I do so will be April 10, 2073.

I was actually thinking about it the other day, trying to work out the last King who was even alive at 73 and I came up with George III. Forgot about Edward VIII living that long after the abdication.

Interesting about Edward VIII. Assuming he lived that long without abdicating, and still had no children, this means Elizabeth would still become Queen, just 20 years later. (He died in 1972.)

Lived for over 35 years after his abdication - that is a long way from a record though.

(for instance the last King of Egypt, whose reign was ended in 1953, is still alive)

Or the last Tsar of Bulgaria, whose reign ended in 1946, and who became prime minister in 2001!
