If this forum is a "left-wing echo chamber" as blue avatars claim, why is "Latinx" so hated?

Just a point...that word is very unpopular here and it gets ravaged all the time (and not just from me), and how often does anyone use it unironically? So why is that if here is such a left-wing echo chamber?

This term is not widely accepted in the vast majority of circles (in fact, surveys by Pew Research and Gallup indicate that the percentage of the general population that uses this term regularly is in the single digits). Left-wing commentators have called out politicians like AOC when they try to promote this term in the current environment.

This forum is smart enough to recognize that the word is deeply unpopular and unused among the community it's supposed to describe.  We know this because of another key aspect of this forum's raison d'etre; polling.

Incidentally, this week I saw a poster at my local library publicizing 'Latinx Heritage Month'.  Don't worry, I made sure to threaten the library staff with death as any good patriot should.

Atlas is extremely partisan but it has never been a hot bed of genuine leftist sentiment.  We're more Josh Lyman than Karl Marx (and that isn't a compliment.)

Atlas likes to fixate on small superspecific things as if they're the sole cause of something. Admittedly, I've been guilty of this myself.
I don't doubt that "Latinx" contributed to the 2020 south Texas swing, but the way some people on here talk about it you'd think the one word singlehandedly flipped Zapata County.

To be clear, I don't like "Latinx" either, but Atlas people need to relax. Seriously, I barely even hear it said anymore. It is quickly going out of fashion.

Latinx is going out of fashion though BECAUSE of the backlash to it. If that was never vocalized the rollback wouldn't be happening.
