Can't really say.  My only trips to Japan (the only Asian country I've been to) were on Delta/United.  Non-stop from LAX to Tokyo, and vice-versa.

Voted Emirates. Meant Qatar, because I have never taken any of these, but I am scheduled to be on Qatar Airways flights sometime between 09/04 and 09/06 this year.

Oh, HM to Vietnam Airlines - I flew them from Rangoon to Hanoi where I was the only passenger in business class. I was absolutely knackered so I passed out immediately after takeoff, and slept through the landing. They refused to let the poors deplane until I woke up and was ready to leave. Entire plane was standing behind the curtain waiting to get off LOL.

The "lounge" in Hanoi was horrible, though. Crowded, bad furniture, inedible food.

As much as I'll complain to anyone in earshot about the myriad disheartening issues with Malaysia, at the same time I do so because I believe in our collective desire and ability to be better. Being a MAS booster is more about the idea of it more than the actual experience of flying with em.
