Nuclear weapons would have been used before Russian forces were ever in positions to invade the U.S.

Russia isn't invading US or Britian the only thing Russia did was kill Kennedy, KGB trained Oswald and may have had a hand in the other other three Bobby Kennedy was shot and killed by a Muslim and Hamas is tight with Iran and Iran is tight with Russia

If the Russians did that now we would be in a War with them that's why no leader has been assassinated except in Japan

Back in the sixties we had just came out of WW II we weren't ready for War with Russia and they took nukes out of Cuba already and there were so many leaders killed back then and mass murders, the world was more dangerous back then, now you hear about killings but not like before, Cameras

Agreed. Nuclear weapons would have been used quite a while ago if it came to this.

He wouldn't have to. They'd never gain a foothold, and conservatives would shoot them until their heads resembled wiffle balls.

>implying the russians have any kind of capability to pull a version of Sealion on us

But alas, for the sake of the question, Biden would ensure that Russia turns into glass should they set one foot in our Exclusive Economic Zone.

Any country responding with nuclear weapons is crazy. It's suicide.

No. Firstly, the US benefits from geography because it's separated from the rest of the world by oceans and only shares the borders with two countries. The point of entry for Russia into the US would probably be through Alaska.

Even then, long before the invasion, troop movements would be spotted on surveillance and counter-offensives would be launched. The Russians would be stopped in their tracks, before this threat even needs to be made.

I don't think he would do that unless nukes were used on us. In the very unlikely event they attempt an invasion we would just defend with conventional weaponry and very likely do so successfully.- Remember all of NATO would be fighting the Russians off with us.

Not immediately, unless Russia opened with nukes. The least insane invasion of the US would be an invasion of Alaska, and that could be fought off conventionally with relative ease and low casualties.

There’d always be an intolerably high chance that conventional conflict would eventually escalate into something nuclear.
