Lets hope Brownback doesn't win the nomination, at least now he doesn't have the support to. If he does it may make me vote for the Democrat depending on who it is.

I don't think he'd get the nomination.  Or at least I hope not.  Then again, he could if since none of the current frontrunners identify with the conservative base.  My dad, for example, is very conservative and wouldn't even dream of casting a vote for Giuliani or McCain.  I think he said he'll be voting for Gingrich if he runs....::shudder::

Good news for Democrats win or lose the nomination.  At the very least, he'll drag the entire field hard right on social issues.  Heck, he might even get McCain and Giuliani to use the term 'Snowflake babies'.

C'mon, Republicans. You want a real conservative, don't you? Vote Brownback for Flag and Faith!

Two year to the day before he's going to be inaugurated.

The man is one of the most half-witted ass clowns that I have ever had the displeasure of hearing speak. I can't think of a soul that would force me to cast a vote for Brownback, even if he were running against Kerry...I would have a hard time choosing.

Brownback has no chance.  He'll divide the Gary Bauer-religious vote with Huckabee.  Neither of them will finish more than fourth place in the Iowa caucus.

If any conservative is going to win the nomination, it will be Gingrich. I would personally prefer Hagel, Guiliani, or Thompson to win the nomination. The only reason I put the latter on there was because of his brother.

Evangelical conservatives own the GOP, and many might flock to him.  I wouldn't be surprised to see him do very well in the primaries.  I still think this is all McCain's though.  He has enough support from conservatives nowadays and you KNOW that the independent-minded Republicans still love him.

Hey, it worked well for Quayle on January 20, 1999.
