Very small chance she ever actually decides to run, but I believe she may be the most popular person associated with politics in the Democratic Party.  I always felt she'd be a charismatic politician in her own right.

I also think she'd unite the whole of the party very fast behind her candidacy.

No, Harris might not be the Nominee since Newsom has a huge following it depends on if Beasley and Demings get elected Harris will clearly see an opening for her to run, they're chances have gotten brighter Ryan is leading in a wave state and BEASLEY is only 3 pts since Roe

But, Obama's haven't campaigned public since the end of GA Runoffs

She has made it clear, that she has zero interest in elective politics and her focus during her husband's presidency was Nutrition and her daughter's.

I'm no longer as convinced she'd win the Democratic nomination if she ran (at least not in 2024). Voters have horrible memories of the Hillary Clinton experience an Obama candidacy, absent her primarying Harris, would guarantee an AOC challenge.

If she ran for something further downballot, like Mayor of Chicago or a House or Senate seat in Illinois (I don't think Durbin runs for reelection in 2026) and wins, she'd be the frontrunner in 2028 assuming either a Biden win in 2024, or a Trump victory (a DeSantis win, on the other hand, means she'd probably win the nomination but lose the general election, and I doubt she'd want to take that risk).
