The year is 2024. Throughout late 2023 and early 2024, Republican South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, with a massive war chest, would experience a surge in the polls. He would make a campaign message that is respective towards Trump, conservative in terms of social issues, but also offers solutions in terms of fiscal issues. This campaign message would lead to Scott narrowly defeat Trump in the Republican Primary.
Scott would pick North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as his vice president, in hopes of bringing suburbanites in swing states back into the Republican column. The enthusiasm was high for the GOP especially after polls revealed that Scott was leading in swing states. However, this enthusiasm would not last long, as Donald Trump would form a new political party known as the America First Party, based off of his infamous "MAGA" campaign platform. At the time, Scott wasn't too worried about Trump, as the process of getting on the ballot in all 50 states took a long time. But surprisingly, Trump managed to get his America First Party on the ballot in all 50 states within a matter of two weeks, with the help of devoted fans.
This was when all hope of the GOP toppling Biden in 2024 disappeared. Biden was leading by double digits in the popular vote polls and swing states due to the heavy vote splitting. Meanwhile, Trump would pick Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn as his running mate.
As was expected, Biden won re-election in a massive landslide, due to the fact that the American right-wing were heavily divided. This would be the first time in a very long time that a third party candidate won electoral votes.
Meanwhile in the Senate and the House, the Democrats would gain unprecedented power in both chambers, due to this split. It is becoming increasingly clear that the American right-wing is in shambles, and it seems unlikely that it will recover any time soon.
Meanwhile, throughout Joe Biden's second term, Roe v. Wade is codified into law, bans on gender-affirming care for minors in all states are overturned, a new national assault weapons ban is in affect, the electoral college has been abolished, amongst other things.
I intend on posting what happens next every day (there are some days where I may not be available to post, however). You, reader, are free to comment, give suggestions, and may even predict what may happen next.
