Cardin is a good man. I've met him in person quite a few times and he is always upbeat and in a good mood.

Cardin will be an excellent senator, but not in a media whore kind of way.  He has found a niche with some 'not so sexy' issues and become one of the most knowledgeable members of congress when it comes to health care and pension reform.

He's been right on the war since the very beginning too.

Cardin is what Carlos Menica would call Dee-dee but that is just my opinion. What we do know is he will probley be low-profile and won't be a big player in the Senate kind of like a Democratic Wayne Allard.
