Senators
,
I'm not sure who of you are still around here or which of you have have left Nyman for the Christmas vacation but I'll advise you of the currrent state of play in the Senate and what I propose to do
There are currently final votes on:
1) Back-Up Redistricting Amendment
Currently 5 Ayes (Ernest, Dave Hawk, Colin Wixted, DWPerry, Jas), one more needed to pass (since we only have 9 senators rather than 10)
2) Constitutional Amendment on Voter Registration and Voting Rules
Currently 4 Ayes (Dave Hawk, Colin Wixted, Jas, DWPerry), 1 Abstention (Ernest), with two more needed to pass (since we only have 9 senators rather than 10)
There is also a final vote ongoing on the Repeal of the DDT-Reintroduction Act Bill (final vote), which currently stands at 2 Nays (Colin Wixted, Ernest)
If there are enough votes, by say, 6.00pm Eastern today, I'll announce that there is; but I won't be calling any until I return to the Forum regularly on Wednesday 27th. Furthermore, I will not be calling for a final vote on the Atlasian-Kuwait Free Trade Bill nor on Gabu's confirmation as Secretary of Forum Affairs until 27 December
So here's wishing you all a Merry Christmas
,
Dave 'Hawk'
P.S. I intend to send you all the link to this announcement by private message, so that you are all aware of it
