Technically the Dean is supposed to do this, and I alerted him to the task, but not seeing anything and we should have started this yesterday. So pursuant to Section 5B of the SOAP, which allows other legislators to do this task in the absence of the dean, I am going to open up the speaker nomination period.

Deputies have 24 hours for nominations and debate for the office of Speaker.
