I mean The Lost World was published in 1912 so that’s pretty close. On the other hand Roxton found diamonds on the plateau so I doubt that there were any extant dinosaurs on it by 1926 :’( .

Yes, and Alligators and Crocodile and Sharks, whom eat Humans are dinosaurs too but Birds, that don't eat humans are mammals warm blooded and we come from birds abd the others are reptiles cold blooded

That's why you don't surf, a female shark can come thru s wave and bite you, you are taking that risk

Dinosaurs adapted to their Environment during the Ice Ages  just like humans whom were Jr Chimp and then Lucy and they moved North and Developed into Hebrew Cave men Celts and Asians and had Yellow skin like Latinos from the first negro female
