Absolutely no reason Iowa should go first. No state should go first and have that much power but Iowa is an all round awful. They insist on their incredibly undemocratic caucus. They can run a simple app.

Iowa is solid republican now. Nor is it reflective of the party or country as a whole.

On alternatehistory.com there was a poster named Wilicox. He was an adamant defend of the Iowa caucus and it going first. I wonder how he’ll feel with it losing its special status

I think Democrats Abroad is probably the best choice.

It's reflective of the party, and it doesn't really piss off Iowa and New Hampshire either (assuming the Democrats decide not to force the issue and make both states move later in the calendar).
