The President has nominated TCash for SOFA... As Vice President, and President of the Senate, I hereby open the confirmation hearing.

Does the nominee expect to present the Senate any ideas for electoral reform, and if so is he ready to present the general thrust of them?

Will you be seeking to appoint a deputy SoFA?

I do not expect any major reforms at this time, though I would be supportive of dropping the 25 post limit between each election- or that once someone has served in office or has a high post count (1000+ or something) that they be allowed to vote in any election. It's up to the senate to propose this legislation or amendment, though.

If there is someone smart, trustworthy and willing to serve, absolutely.

Will you be actively seeking out such a person?

Thank you for answering my questions.

Voting for your confirmation was never in any real doubt, I'm just interested in seeing the Deputy position filled to help further secure the Department's stability.

Hopefully, we can move to confirm quickly and get closer to filling the vacant District 1 seat with due haste.
