Agree with what others have said in the thread - the Catholic vote in Australia, having come largely from working-class Irish roots (like my mum's family) was historically a reliable Labor constituency. Now, with younger generations moving away from religion altogether, the rise of many old Catholic families into the middle class, as well as the general trend of working class voters moving away from centre-left parties that you see in much of the western world, the Catholic vote is probably indiscernible from the general vote.
