Grant (D) 38
Sali (R) 34
Undecided 25

Supposedly this is some "local pollster"

In any case, this race is a tossup now.

When are those undecided going to decide?

No clue if this is accurate, but Mason Dixon had it a two point race, so I'll go with that.

If this one goes Dem, there truly is a massive wave; this is one of the very most Republican districts in the entire country.

ID-1 voted 69%-30% for Bush in 2004 - this would certainly be a surprise but I have heard that Sali is very conservative although I wouldn't have thought that would have been an issue for voters here.

State House leader Bruce Newcomb on Sali:

"That idiot is just an absolute idiot."

And that's one of the nicer things that Sali's colleagues have said about him.

The gubernatorial race shaping out the same way as this one is wrong on so many levels.

A Grant victory would be great but I don't know if he can win here with that many undecided voters.

ID-1 is not about any sort of wave, its about primary voters making a very bad decision.  Sali is an extremist who would be an embarrassment to the GOP caucus if elected.  ID-1 voters should do the Party a favor and keep this Sali son of a bitch out of Congress.  Maybe next time Primary voters will realize that moderates win, extremists lose.
