Yes, we killed Hussein but was it really worth the consequences? Hundreds of thousands if not millions of innocent Iraqis were killed, trillions of dollars wasted and much of the goodwill the world had for us was tarnished.
Also it's worth pointing out many Iraqis say that life was better under Saddam then their current situation, pointing out that although he was a dictator he at least held the country together and took an iron fist against terrorist groups.
You're right, and I would add the numerous refugees in Europe to the list of consequences. Many of these (though not all) are fleeing from ISIS. And of course the refugees lead to the right wing "illiberal democracies" in assorted countries.
In short, the Iraq war is a massive reshaping or the whole world, not just the Middle East, and most of it is not for the better.
